Lola Karnes

Lola is a 13-year-old vocalist in 8th grade at OCSA. She has been singing all her life and loves expressing herself through music. When she’s not performing, she enjoys playing soccer and spending time with friends. She is excited to share her voice on stage today.

Aaliyah Brooks

Aaliyah has loved music since the day she heard her first beat. She has enjoyed singing and dancing since before she took her first steps. She joined dance at 3 years old and has been on her studio’s competitive team for 4 seasons. But her love for music didn’t stop there. A little over a year ago she asked to start vocal lessons and revealed her dream of becoming a famous singer when she grows up. Aaliyah enjoys performing on stage and off stage for family and friends, especially right around bedtime. Whether she’s practicing singing or making up choreography to her favorite songs, her passion brightly shines through. 

Karen Vo

Karen Vo is an Orange County–based vocalist who recently began formal vocal training after a childhood obsession with Rock Band. She’s loved singing her whole life and is inspired by artists like The Weeknd, Sam Smith, and Djo. When she’s not singing, Karen works in the medical field, bakes sweet treats, and occasionally goes for a run with her boyfriend (emphasis on occasionally).

Stephanie Lai

Stephanie has always been surrounded by music growing up, from years of choir and a 5th-grade school musical (as a singing fish) to family karaoke and many enthusiastic shower concerts. Along the way, she took time to explore other creative passions—including dance in college, where she even performed as a backup dancer for artists— but singing was the one outlet that she always found herself coming back to. It’s become her favorite way to connect deeply with her emotions and express herself in a way that words alone can’t capture.

Over the past year, Stephanie chose to invest in herself and pursue a long-held dream by beginning vocal lessons. Tonight marks her first solo set, and she’s grateful to share this meaningful step in her personal journey with her family and friends.
